Facebook Portal Review
The social media giant launched their very first branded hardware device called The Portal. Due to people spending extreme level of time on video calling through messenger.
It’s a simple device. It wants you to video call with more and more convenience. Now you will not be needed to hold your phone or sit like an idol in front of your computer. It is having an Al-powered camera, it will zoom and reframe the picture and you can move freely while on a call. It is having a professional level operator for your personal camera, it will expertly record your video.
Design
There are two different models of this new device, Portal. One is a 10.1 inch version and the other one is 15.6 inch, it is said to be Portal Plus. Both models are having same quality of custom processors and softwares. But from their outlook, it will be different from each other.
Portal
The smaller Portal is having display screen fixed horizontally, with speakers which will complete its base. The screen of Portal is having a small dot like “I” which is its single camera.
Portal Plus
While talking about Portal Plus, so it is large in size and it seems more classy and unique. It is having tall vertical screen. Its design is glossy and slick, big difference from small portal.
Commanding by Voice
You can easily command portal while using messenger. For example if you want to call anyone, you will simply need to say: “Hey Portal, call —-“whatever the name will be. You can easily call your every friend by using this Portal, either your friend is having it or not.
Verdict
This Portal is doing very great work of providing convenience for video calling. The wide angle, person tracking camera is very great for keeping you on screen in front of your friend. Now by using this, it will become very much easy to communicate face to face with each other.
